The consistent practice of yoga and meditation can decrease your stress levels and change the way you approach your life. The practice of yoga develops our ability to be fully present and inhabit our bodies. Reading self-help books and getting involved in group coaching and classes can help, too, if you’re truly motivated and can put your learning into action.
But you may not want to wait months, or even years, to see life changes from your yoga practice.
The fast track to making the lasting, conscious, changes that bring more happiness and greater success into all areas of your life is one-on-one coaching combined with the practice of yoga.
How it works:
- Create a yummy, rich, life vision that you will naturally want to work toward: Vision statements aren’t just for organizations and they don’t have to be boring or difficult to achieve! A life vision helps you to play to your strengths, focus your energy, and ignite your enthusiasm. We will look at the gap between where you are and where you are going. This is an exciting step: to get in touch with what you really want and identify what needs work in order to make it happen.
- Build on the practices of yoga and meditation to figure out why you get stuck – and how to get unstuck: As a long-time yogini and meditator, I’ve long believed in the power of yoga and meditation to help us step back and see more clearly the nature of our minds and our actions and what keeps us stuck. Together, we will develop a practice that you really enjoy (or build on what you already have) so you can reap the benefits: less stress, more clarity, and more intentional action.
- Clearly identify ways of thinking that keep you stuck, so you can shift your thinking and experience more freedom and happiness: Most, if not all, of the limitations in our lives are created by the way we think – working through those negative thought patterns is like magic – loosening the grip that a negative mindset has on your life. You will naturally find that your actions begin to align with your deepest intentions and your juicy new life vision.
- Take your insights out into the world to create lasting balance and authentic success: We manifest change in the world through the actions we take. With a vision that excites you and practices that support your connection to yourself – taking action will come much easier. Throughout the coaching process, we will work together to set authentic, achievable action steps that support the life you have envisioned.

What does body-based coaching involve:
For an investment of $85.00 per session, you will receive these one-on-one services.
- 60 – 75 minute sessions: You’re busy, but you want nourishing support. Two calls per month are the minimum I recommend. This will provide the coaching you need, with enough time between calls to complete assignments and integrate new habits and knowledge.
- Email support in between calls, for clients who purchase packages of sessions: Even if our scheduled call is a week away, you can reach me via email for feedback, guidance, and support with specific issues that come up in the meantime. We will also use email support as a personal accountability tool for the changes you are making.
- Assignments before and between sessions: Awareness is the key to lasting changes. A variety of assignments – action steps, written inquiry, or other relevant tools – between calls will keep you engaged and committed to your success.
